Mike Gillis has made his better decision in letting the "most winningest coach in canucks history" go.  Alain had great success in the regular season but during the play-offs his coaching styles just didnt match up.
Vancouver was the first team eliminated in the NHL playoffs this month, the first time in 12 years it was swept in the post-season, this time courtesy the San Jose Sharks.
In 2012 the canucks lost due to injuries to key players, but after seeing what happened this year that may not have been the only reason. The Canucks had an All-Star fully healthy roster this year but were swept in 4 games dispite having home-ice advantage.
Since Vancouver beat Boston to take a 3-2 series lead in the 2011 Cup final, the Canucks have lost 10 of their last 11 post-season games. They were downed in five games in 2012 by eventual champion Los Angeles despite earning the Presidents' Trophy for a second straight season as the top regular-season team.
I think that he hs lost his spark, not winning the cup in 2011, it took his passion.  We need a new coaching staff, but also a new GM, Gillis does not have what it takes to create a Stanley Cup Champion tem, his trades have been flawed and confusing, he fails to sign key depth forwards like; Raffi Torres, Aaron Volpatti, and a key defenceman in Christian Erhoff. He needs to go.

There is one key reasons why I think that the pollsters where wrong;
The pollsters predicted that the vote would be a landslide, thus relieving the pressure of some of the voters because they seem to think that the NDP would win with or without their vote. The polls turned out to be a majority vote in favor of the Liberals because it is probable that the 48% that did not vote wanted the NDP to win.

I am a supporter of the Liberal party, I like what changes they want to make because, sadly, money is the most important thing, without government money the country will become poverish and not be able to make trade, causeing the price of goods to go up and the economy to perish. If the economy suffers than the people suffer.

Adrian Dix, if the NDP had any other represenative they would have been better represented in the polls.  He may not be a hardcore criminal but he does have a criminal record and for a politician to have a criminal record that makes some people doubt their NDP faith. The pollsters were innacurate because people supporting the NDP party may not have supported Adrian Dix.

This Act of Terror is a much deeper issue than the Bombing itself, it not only creates paranoia and panic, but it causes the homeland security in the area to act hastely. The people want the government to throw the hammer down and stop the culprits, but with a terrorist group its not that simple.

Former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani said the Obama administration should ratchet up its focus on homegrown terrorists and their links to overseas jihadists despite the death of Osama bin Laden, citing the Boston Marathon bombings as a reminder that radicalized Islam is a constant threat.

The new Bill that has been past is an act of fear by the Government and they see this as their best chance to keep any other terrorists that may find this as a pivitol moment to strike at bay.
A new anti-terrorism bill, which passed the House of Commons Wednesday night and received royal assent Thursday, revives provisions from the Anti-terrorism Act passed just after the Sept. 11 attacks and adds some new ones.

Some controversial measures, such as investigative hearings and preventive detentions, which some fear might violate civil rights, have been restored. Some new sections in the bill seem tailored to thwart the early planning stages of an act of terrorism.

No Terrorist group has stood up and taken credit for this act of terror, however most likely this suspect isnt working alone witch brings up more fear in the eyes of the U.S.A

As Margaret Thatcher is laid to rest and the world continues to take stock of her life, the inevitable questions arise that would have no counterpart for a male leader: What did Thatcher and her legacy mean for women and for feminism?  There was little love lost between the Iron Lady and the “Women’s Libbers,” as she called them.  But if liberation means pursuing one’s own path regardless of others’ notions of what women should be, then Britain’s former Prime Minister was one of the great liberated women of the 20th century—one who defied both traditional and feminist prescriptions.

Margaret Thatcher may have fallen, but her spirit lives on, not only in Britain but all around the world.  Woman see her as an idol, a symbol if you will of independance for women politicians everywhere. She left big shoes to fill and who knows who will step up and fill them.

Mr. Kim has threatened the United States on a regular basis with threats such as threatening to rain missiles on the American mainland.  Even with all these threats there is no proof that the countries leader, Kim Jong-un, has been mobilizing troops or making moves to an imminent attack.

The United States' reaction to this tension has been handled with the utmost hesitation, for fear that nuclear war could break out.  The United States have made a couple heavy handed moves such as, flying nuclear-capable bombers over the Korean Peninsula.

Having taken these unusually public steps to demonstrate its commitment to defend itself and protect South Korea and Japan, the Obama administration appeared to be trying to defuse a situation that many analysts say has gone beyond previous cycles of provocation by North Korea, and raised genuine fears of war.

“I consider the current North Korean threats very serious,” Ms. Park told the South’s generals. “If the North attempts any provocation against our people and country, you must respond strongly at the first contact with them without any political consideration.”

The fear of a nuclear war is a real one, and I feel that if this situation is not defused in a careful manner that war will break out. On the other hand I think is that there will not be a Wolrd war from this senario I believe that the main swing vote is China. If China joins the side of Mr. Kim, there will be a possibility of a World War.

My opinion as to why Mr. Kim is acting out in this aggressive manner is because of their tecnology, their technology is that of the 1960's and their mind set is the same as that of the 1960's.

Pope Francis began his reign as pope with a Holy Thursday Ceremony, he cleansed the feet of 12 inmates at a juvenile detention center.

Two of the 12 were young women, an unusual choice given that the rite re-enacts Jesus’ washing of the feet of his male disciples.  That Francis would include women in this re-enactment is symbolically noteworthy given the Vatican’s prohibition on female priests.

The unusual part is not the feet-washing in itself, but the fact that he did include women. What does this mean for the new pope and his theory's about the Vatican's prohibiton on female priests.  How will this stand with the public?

In Turin, Italy during the hunting season, 27 wild boars were captured and had samples taken which turned out to be radioactive. The traces of the radioactive isotope cesium-137 were proven to be 10 times the lagal limit.

According to Sena the Enea "the ceasium-137 is an artificial radionuclide produced by nuclear fission, and is released from nuclear sites."

Teams of Experts are going to try and solve the " mystery of cesium" by testing samples of water and soil.  Rabbits, hare, and deer are going to be tested for cesium.  Experts from the regional institution for environmental monitoring ARPA consider the most likely cause of the radioactive contamination is from Chernobyl.

So what will this radioactive isotope do to hunters that eat the boar? Well you can treat an accidental ingestion with Prussian blue, Prussian blue is used as an antidote for certain kinds of heavy metal poisoning. If this outbreak is not stopped soon, who knows what other species could be afected, and how far it will spread.

Imagine a phone that all you had to do was look at it and you can control it. Samsung may have what you are looking for.
The new Galaxy S IV has been rumoured to have a "SmartStay" technology that will only require you to use you're eyes to scroll down the page. The other features of the smartstay technology are still unknown.

Quoting an unnamed Samsung employee who has used the phone, the Times said the Samsung Galaxy S IV, the next generation in its popular Galaxy S line, will be more heavily geared toward new software than a physical reboot of the Android-based device.

The Korean company has for all practical purposes announced the Galaxy S IV will be unvieled at a New York City event on March 14.

Reports of an eye-control innovation make sense. Samsung has filed in Europe to trademark a technology called "Eye Scroll" and another named "Eye Pause."

My opinions of the Eye-Control feature are mixed, I dont believe that this feature will be perfect, it will definatly take some time to get it right.  The Technology is far too advanced for me to even imagine, but im not a samsung employee, I dont know what they can do.  I have a strong hope for the S IV to succeed, because I really want to buy this phone. I am sceptical about the software, I believe there will be flaws.

Charlie Sheen is speaking out about his close relationship with Lindsay Lohan, saying there's nothing romantic going on between the two, and that he's just trying to help her.

Sheen previously gifted Lohan $100,000, and was later surprised he hadn't recieved a "thank-you." Meanwhile, Lohan just wants Sheen to back off and stop talking to TMZ.

I love her, I respect her, and I've never laid a finger on her that wasn't on film," he tells TMZ. "How ya like me now, America?"

In an exclusive statement to TMZ, Sheen admits his past experiences make him the perfect mentor for Lohan, who has candidly battled legal problems, jail time and substance abuse over the last few years.

Sources that are close to Lindsay Lohan say that, while she appreiciates everything Sheen has done for he, and he's done a lot, she would NEVER take him as a mentor.  She knows that her life is out of control, and According to TMZ Lohan has been regularly meeting with a therapist and feels the consistancy has helped.

Charlie Sheen has recently cleaned up his act, and I believe that with his help that Lindsay Lohan could use some of the same techniques that Sheen used to fix his downward spiral.  Even though Sheen hasn't made a full recovery, he has done enough to turn his life around to be able to help Lindsay Lohan.

TUSTIN, CALIF.— A hectic 25-minute shooting spree through Orange County early Tuesday left a trail of dead and injured victims before the shooter stopped and killed himself, police said.

There were at least six crime scenes, Orange County sheriff’s spokesman Jim Amormino told KNBC-TV.

The shootings started with an apparent carjacking just after 5 a.m. Tuesday in an unincorporated Ladera Ranch area of Orange County, said Tustin police Supervisor Dave Kanoti.

From 5:30 a.m. to 5:55 a.m., Tustin police received police reports of shootings in several locations, he said.

Officers found one dead person and one wounded at State Route 55 and McFadden Street, two shot and wounded at Interstate 5 and Red Hill Avenue, and one dead at Del Amo Boulevard and Edinger Avenue. The alleged shooter then drove to the intersection of Wanda Road and Katella Avenue and shot himself in the middle of the intersection, Kanoti said.

The conditions of the wounded victims were unknown.

It is possible more people were shot at because some people may have chased the shooter, Kanoti said.

A spokeswoman for the California Highway Patrol said they didn’t have any active crime scenes on the freeway but the southbound 55 McFadden Avenue off-ramp would be closed until further notice.

Kanoti said authorities were trying to figure out if the rampage started with the fatal carjacking but could not yet confirm that.

Tustin is about 56 km southeast of downtown Los Angeles.

It is still unclear if the victims had any connections to each other or the shooter.
